George Stephenson

Chair

George's eldest daughter, Lucy, joined Cranbrook in 2013 as a local boarder in Blubery, followed by her younger sister to Scott in 2020 and she has been part of the CSPA for most of that time.

George also sits on the ABC (Association of Boarders at Cranbrook) Committee.

Having worked previously in brand design, George has been part of the fundraising committee at Rye, Winchelsea & District Memorial Hospital and has recently qualified as a Nutritionist, specialising in the role of diet and lifestyle on mental and physical health.

She looks forward to meeting everyone at future CSPA events.

Katherine Coltart

Vice Chair

Katherine’s eldest daughter started at Cranbrook in 2020 and her younger daughter joined in 2023. With her event industry background, Katherine has become actively involved with fundraising events for the School.

She previously introduced a fireworks event at her children’s primary school and successfully brought this to Cranbrook in 2022.  Alongside the commitment to the CSPA, Katherine is a busy mum of three children and works as a freelance Social Media and Events Manager.

Rachel Lane

Secretary

Rachel has been involved with the CSPA for 4 years and has stepped into the role of Secretary for her final year. Her younger daughter, Lauren, is in Year 13 and her older daughter, Anna, left 3 years ago and is now at university. Rachel has organised the popular Burns nights for the last 4 years and was the original Candyfloss Queen, a talent she is pleased to have now shared with other members of the committee and volunteer team!

Scott McLean

Treasurer

Being a relatively new parent at the school - Scott's daughter started in September 2022 with the Yr7 cohort - Scott was keen to get involved in supporting the school and recently joined the CSPA taking on the Treasurer role.
Scott is responsible for keeping the funds raised by the CSPA in check, and made readily available to the CSPA, for investment into enhancing our children's school experience.
Having started his career in Finance, Scott now keeps himself occupied across the day as a Business Analyst consultant.

Lucy Howells

Communications

Lucy has had children at Cranbrook since 2014.  

Her twin daughters are currently in Yr10.

Lucy is responsible for the CSPA website and social media platforms, and for the CSPA news in the weekly School Bulletin.

In real life, Lucy is a freelance editor in the construction industry.
